It’s time to start my yearly reflection to set goals for next year.

Reflecting on the past year is a fantastic way to set goals for the coming year. It gives you an opportunity to evaluate what worked, what didn’t and what needs to be changed.

Reflecting is not just about looking at your accomplishments, but also reflecting on how you feel about them. How do they make you feel? What were your goals and how did they help you grow?

What have been the high points of this year? What have been the low points?

How will you improve the areas where things didn’t turn out according to plan? How will you maintain and build upon areas where things went particularly well?

Reflecting on the past year is helpful because it helps you understand where you are now and how far you’ve come. It helps you see where there is room for improvement and what steps need to be taken to achieve your goals.

Set new goals for the coming year based on what you learned from last year’s successes and failures. It is important to set goals that are challenging but realistic and have a plan for how you will reach them. Setting goals allows you to focus on what needs to be done for you to succeed.

My goal for 2023 is simple: build on what I’ve learned in 2022 (and make sure those lessons stick!) and focus on making more meaningful connections with people who share my interests and values.
